late

I shouldn't be jotting this blog post on my steno notebook. Besides that it's an hour and a half past midnight, I have other considerable reasons why this post should be nonexistent.

A steadily growing pile of unanswered letters -- mostly anxious kumusta's from my dear friends -- has been waiting for me at my mailbox since two months ago. Of course I want to answer all of them. Not just with an "OK lang ako, bye!", but with numerous glimpses of what's happening in my life, about that crazy conversation I had with two Fil-Am girls, or about my growing intimacy with the garbage bin outside our apartment.

You see, I really treasure them so much. I don't want our relationships to fade into mere shadows. I want to pour out as much of myself as possible into my letters -- all my thoughts and experiences -- to keep the fires of friendship burning. (Forget about calling me. It's too expensive for both of us.)

But it is difficult. I promised myself yesterday I won't post on my blog until I composed all my replies. But, even though I had 6 hours of free time today, all I finished writing was just one. And I have dozens more to go.

And I have a pre-lab and a post-lab in Chem due tomorrow afternoon. I've barely started reading the procedure. Scold me for procrastinating, but honestly, I just feel that I don't have any more time. There are just so many things to do -- like washing the dishes, sweeping the floor and... and...

On second thought, I'm just very inefficient. Heehee.

There's something stuck in my brain's drainage pipes. And it's causing me severe discomfort. It's probably a stinking hairball of nasty ideas that clumped because I don't have anyone with my wavelength to spew them out to. I need a dose of intellectual Liquid Sosa to clear it all up. If you have half a bottle to spare, please, do tell me.
