Thanksgiving

We didn't have roast turkey for dinner. Nor mashed potatoes, green beans, or cranberry sauce.

We're still die-hard Filipinos. Hehe.

But we did cook up something tasty.

My mother did her trademark orange fried rice with chopped carrots, green peas, eggs, ham and hotdog. My father grilled three garlic pork chops and two Montreal rib-eye steaks after he did the chicken and asparagus soup.

We didn't finish all of it -- I'm sure we'll be eating leftovers several days from now.
